a commuting saint
Am I the only one being reminded of detective Simon Templar at Universitetet station?

No. I remember him very well. One of my favorite shows. Great image.
You are definitely not!!! Gosh that brings back a flood of memories...
I missed somewhat The Saint, but I can take your image and your title at face value: why not a Saint for commuters. The pose is perfect!
Hehehe...! And if there's anyone who needs a saint - it's got to be the commuters...!
Simon Templar, 'The Saint'! Absolutely! :-) Cool composition.
Sorry but I can't remember the name of the Swedish lady singer...
This is the style of figure used to designate men's and women's public restrooms. So, for me, this looks like some guy who really, really needs to go.
Saints ain't gonna help nobody! But the New Orleans Saints did OK for themselves.
I don't know what or who the saint is. But this guy looks like he's in a hurry to get away from you!
oh no! is it bec. i live so far away from the rest of the world that i'm not familiar who's the saint?! ^0^
tnx for the wiki info.
well caught btw and iconic.
Here's an old trailer for all of you b/w connoisseurs out there.
Luis Gomez: They don't make'm like that anymore.
cieldequimper: It really does.
VP: Incidentally, there's an entire team of Saints down here. We might be able to come up with photographic evidence for that.
Jenny: Now, how can you say such a thing! The life of commuters is always predictable, uneventful and generally enjoyable. Or did I miss something? :D
JM: Thanks!
Jacob: Good point, there's a sense of urgency here.
Halcyon: Given Jacob's creative theory, there's not much to add.
arabesque: Or just maybe you didn't watch a whole lot of TV during the sixties? ;)
As always, super-pleased to have you all stopping by our little corner in space-time.
Can't say I know what you're talking about, but the image is intriguing. Only you would have thought of snapping it like that :-)
So would that be like... umm, a trademark - sort of? :)
Thanks, Tinsie.
