Tks for dropping in on RuT. sorry to read about that new bridge.
As far as we know :) the bridge is ok nowadays and I believe the original contractor had to pay for the extra work. An even less successful project was a brand new art museum recently completed which had to be closed for a year shortly after opening because of mould and in that case the taxpayers had to foot the additional bill. Incredible, if you ask me.

How interesting! Definitely more air, please! The thought of being in a tunnel for an extended period...a little scary! :)
Just saw this a few days ago... Looks very light and clean.
This one looks better than the other. It's more in the open. What would look really nice, would be some illumination at night ;-)
