What a wonderful globe - lovely otherworldly light...
Thanks. Yes, it’s a lot nicer than anything I’d expect to find alongside a motorway. As a matter of fact, it’s even more interesting than this still picture is able to reveal. The colors and patterns keep moving and pulsating inside the globe. Hey, maybe we’re all being hypnotized? ;)

I guess they've been inspired by the globes outside Uppsala ( A city 60 K's north of Stockholm). No patterns though, more like a model of an atom and colours that change over time. Globes facinates the audience including me. Nice shot Per.

chris & Deb, Sally: Yes, it’s pretty cool and such artistic surprises are exactly what we need to take us through the winters at this latitude.
stefan: I wasn’t aware of competing globes outside Uppsala. Then again, I’m not the most experienced driver… :)
julia: If I remember correctly its diameter is roughly 2 meters.
