Some of the billboards at Zinkensdamm subway station are used as temporary displays for artistic posters. See more?
This is due to the increasing cost for restoring art after vandalism.

Love the contemporary art work in the photo.
Are they reducing the number of art work in the subway due to vandalism?
I can't ski so I probably won't be left stranded on a ski lift. Nonetheless, it sounds scary since there is not "floor" on the ski lift.
Hi Ming. The art works need to be renovated and replaced at an unacceptable rate so this is one idea we're currently testing. The caption in Swedish quotes the transit company stating that this gives artists an opportunity to work alongside commercial material. Well they have to say something.
I don't ski either, this was in the loveliest of months - September. Great for trekking.
Well there was a "floor" but unfortunately not very close to my feet... ;) Yep, it was real scary.

An update:
This is part of the project Color Signals (Färgsignaler) and the artist is Mari Rantanen, born 1956 in Helsinki and Professor at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Stockholm.
