mid-month theme: subway day
St Eriksplan is a small commuter hub in Stockholm. Here you can catch the subway's green line, many buses and the commuter trains at Karlberg station are just two stones' throws walk away. The numbers of restaurants, bars and cafes between St Eriksplan and Karlberg sometimes make that walk long (but jolly).

I'd say three stones' throws to Karlberg. Then again, depends on who throws and the kind of stone.
You have the station looking very inviting, Peter. Autumn isn't too bad, is it?
Happy subway day!
A certain difference between the fairly recent Stockholm Tunnelbana and the Paris Metro! But bars and restaurants seem to be around in both cases!
Oh I do like that part of town! It feels kind of cosy and friendly, smalltownish sort of:)
Pia: Smalltownish ... I don't know. I read in the (very) local weekly today that St Eriksplan probably will have a mobile police station during one of the shopping weekends leading up to Christmas. But, yes, I agree. I like St Eriksplan, Karlberg and it's surroundings.
Per: Guinness gives you strength ;o)
Peter: Well, ain't that a good thing!
It's fascinating being able to compare the very different subway systems of these three cities. Everyone, don't forget to visit our blogging friends of NYC and Paris. Just follow the dotted line or - in this case - the links.
Fine theme : the subway, le métro !
I've posted something about the french metro some days ago with a song of Serge Gainsbourg "Le poinçonneur des Lilas".
