bad fishing

Stockholm is a city on water. Consequently you often see people fishing. This is the first time I have seen someone taking up nets in the city though. In the foreground is the Liljeholmsbadet, a public bath (the sign says "bath", nothing else).

Are the fish safe to eat? The rivers in NYC are so polluted that I don't think I would want to eat anything caught from them.

Ming: I copy/paste from the official visitors guide - "Without a doubt, Stockholm´s waters offer some of the best big city fishing in the world. Salmon trout, pike, perch, bream, and salmon all swim in these waters."

I am quite sure that the catch is ok to eat. We also have a number of public outdoor baths right in the city waters so the water should be reasonably clean.

Per: It comes naturally ;o)
