Old Town ice cream

The ice cream van is navigating the narrow streets of the Old Town. Thank God it didn't play it's silly tune - a tune close to torture according to a professor in biochemistry.

You have caught the true colors of the streets and houses of Gamla Stan.
Is there always a restaurang named "La ronde" ?

Hopefully the good professor hasn't had any chance of experiencing real torture but it's certainly a very annoying tune and I can't imagine how it's supposed to boost sales of ice cream.

This is some navigaton thru those tight streets with their narrow turns. Now, speaking of annoying...The ice cream trucks that frequent our neighborhoods (Midwest USA) not only ring an irksome bell affixed to the top of their vehicles, but they race by so fast that I can never get to them on time. The Pied Pipers they are not. It'd be cool if they played some Frank Sinatra. Maybe that would slow them down. It would certainly attract my attention...in a good way. Have a great week!

I think we have lost that 'tradition'... well, at least the irritating annoying little tune is no longer heard around here (God is great! lol!)

I love those old cobbly streets. There is a (damn) ice cream truck that roams the neighborhood where I play golf. The (damn) thing ALWAYS turns its (damn) song on. I think it's Beautiful Dreamer, which can be a nice song. But not when it's done by the (damn) artificial sounding instruments on the (damn) ice cream truck.

Aha, i always visit for the important news: learning how to say ice cream and how the ice cream truck music sounds. This alone makes my day. ;)
