love and grief

A train rushes by and a young life is abruptly terminated on a Saturday night. Friends and family bring candles and flowers, poems and tributes to this makeshift place of remembrance by the tracks.

That is a beautiful photo of a sad and tragic situation.

Oh my... that is too sad! But it's a lovely memorial.

What happened? Did one of those "ghost" trains go by so fast that it blew someone onto the tracks?

I have no words for it...
Jag har inga ord för det...

What a soul jarring graphic. Most get hung up on taking happy and pleasant photos, however, it's the real life graphics that are priceless.

It's not uncommon these days that the site of a fatal accident is turned into a place of remembrance.

JM: Life is precious.

Halcyon: I wouldn't want to speculate on what happened.

Lena Johansson: Ibland behövs inga ord.

Frankie / Nick: I was out snapping some of those other pleasant and happy photos, missed the bus, took a walk and came across this.

Barbara Rahal: There was a lot of love in that place.

Paz, thanks.

Appreciate all your kind comments.

Sorry to hear about that. You see this kind of memorial quite often after a tragedy these days.

Beautiful capture of a tragic end of life.

I haven't read anything about this specific accident, but most often it's a question of suicide.
