water week: late in the boating season

Most people have already picked up their boats for the season but there are some pockets of resistance still. It looks quite cosy as a matter of fact.

It looks VERY cozy. Great picture! Who knows, thanks to global warming, they'll probably be able to celebrate Christmas in that boat!

Beautiful picture! It does look very cozy in that boat. Maybe they'll invite you for a drink?

You are right! It must be freezing outdoors but that warm light inside the boat is very inviting. Great photo!

Carrie Flicka: We need more friends like you!

Bernt: Beautiful. It reminds me of my relatives in Finland. They had a boat similar to this one when I was a kid. I always enjoyed when we went out on some of the 1000 Finnish lakes. Thanks for bringing back that memory!

I like the blue in the picture very much.

Nice picture but to be a little bit airborne i believe that boats normally are "hauled out". Winter yachting really adds a new dimension.

Little did I think that this only pic worth something from that evening, would give so many positive comments.

It does look very inviting, and would have liked an invitation for a drink. Preferrably an Irish Coffee ;-)

bcp: Hauled out? Well this one was not going anywhere for a while...
