Simple and elegant. A well-known sign viewed from a totally unexpected angle.
For whatever reason, this reminds me of photos from the 1930's. Maybe it's the sign. The Nordic Museum (seen in a recent post on plenty) did an exhibit with early colour photos of Stockholm. Much to my surprise there were indeed colour images from the 1930's. Fascinating.
Which brings me to tonight's conclusion: yours is a timeless photo.
I love the photo. It's interesting in that the letterings are backwards and you can see the people leaving the garden.
