good morning Stockholm
Stockholm - capital of Sweden, the land of the midnight sun!
(Mind you, everyone north of the Arctic Circle have midnight sun, like Finland, Norway, Iceland, the northern regions of Canada - including the Yukon, Northwest Territories, and Nunavut - Greenland, the US state of Alaska and of-course parts of Russia - hello neighbours!).
We don't have much of a midnight sun down here at 60 degrees north. A couple of days ago the sun set at 21:45 and rose at 04:04 (this photo was taken at 04:20 in the morning, on the way home from here). Up north the sun never sets during the summer nights. Here's a photo from Alta - OK, Alta is in Norway - at 3:30 in the morning (70 degrees north).

wow! a pretty sight at 0430hrs!
Beautiful. Of course, as a nightowl I would be in trouble if I lived in Stockholm. I don't sleep much as it is.
Such a pretty sky, the pink/lilac light. Very nice image.
