Noone would try to introduce a new means of transportation which is noisy, hot and leaves the passengers shaken as well as stirred. And yet, for all sorts of reasons, we love old trams. Good for you, Lena, and good for all of us. There are too many cars in this city already and of course Stockholm offers good public transportation as long as one doesn't venture too far away from the city.

Coltrane_lives: Very well phrased. Still, given the age and vibrant state of these old trams I wouldn't go out on a limb here analyzing Man's power. They're long overdue for an upgrade!
