city camping
In 2007 Stockholm had a record breaking 9.3 million "commercial overnight stays" (as they put it). That is as if every single inhabitant in Sweden would stay one night in their capital city.
Overnights at camping grounds increased with 7.4% to over one million. These tourists at Långholmen camping right in the middle of the city are doing their best to help beating the old record.

Bet it would be interesting to holiday in such a way. Unfortunately we don't have this in Malaysia.
It's not uncommon to see foreign tourists in trailers around here, maily surfers, but I have no idea if we have those kind of parks... though they have to park somewhere... :-)
Cool shot!

What a great idea to have a campsite in the middle of the city!!
I guess this is OK if the camper cars are well isolated.
I'm not sure how familiar you are to the Swedish geography, but I spent a couple of nights in a tent under the Tjörn bridge on the west coast. It worked as long as I was really tired and had had a couple of drams before going to bed.
Thanks for stopping by!
