jewels on stage

Opera might not always be considered a girl's best friend. Think again. The exhibition “Maria Callas & Swarovski: Jewels on Stage" has reached Stockholm. Our magnificent gold foyer - always a feast for the eyes - showcases stage jewellery from a triumphant career.

Brilliant! The exhibition has to be something and the photo is absolutely gorgeous! I really love this, everything looks perfect!

What can I say. They gave MacBeth the other night so a bit of glamour was just what the doctor ordered...

cieldequimper: I rarely use flash and this would have been a particularly lousy occasion anyhow so finding the right angle with a makeshift "tripod" was a bit tricky.

JM: It's glitter and glamour all the way! Glad you like it.

m_m: Appreciate that. The foyer itself isn't half bad either, do check out the link if you will.

Thanks!

superb. Sounds like great fun and Maria Callas was so great but what a complicated life she had. I also liked your cuddling boats. very clever. Your comment about cricket and baseball on my website is so true. I still cannot figure out cricket at all. I am glad you enjoyed the Spring flower photo also. I need to use my photos in the winter to remind people who live in the snow what sunshine is like all year around.

"La Divina" Callas died in 1977 and she never performed in Stockholm.

Jacob: It really is.

Julie: This exhibition is said to have attracted millions of visitors before arriving here. Glad you like the shot.

Tinsie: In fact, during the intermission there was too much happening with folks everywhere so my camera never got a chance. I had to return for a second attempt.

Appreciate all your comments.
