Stureplan is one of the major party hubs in Stockholm and is the favourite playground for brats and the nouveau riche. The round thing is Svampen/the mushroom, a classic meeting place since 1937. In December 1994 four people were shot dead and 20 injured at the entrance to one of the night clubs here.

I have been in Stockholm some years before, but only for one day, so I haven't run into this cute mushroom :) Good photo!
I have waited for friends under svampen on a few occasions.

Five years is a long time in internet terms. Sorry to see you stopping but I know how hard it is to keep going. I sure hope you'll be maintaining the archives indefinitely though.
