a house by the river ?

Not quite so but at least by the water. These are found at the Pampas Marina and are permanent houses
to judge by the concrete lower part.
.
Husbåtar är en sak, men här har man tagit steget fullt ut ser det ut som.
Mer permanent än så här blir det väl inte vid Pampas Marina.

You picked a motive which goes well with our current red/blue layout. Makes the local editor happy... :)

Apparently the living is just like in an ordinary house, but with at waterview ;-)

Hm, could be nice... What's it like in the winter?

I won't mind spending a nice vacation there.

Also, it reminds me of the house in "Sleepless in Seattle".

Z: I really don't know, but I would imagine that it's quite damp.....?

Ming: Vacation would be nice :-)
Regarding the house from Sleepless in Seattle. I think I saw the movie, but I don't remember anything....must be an old age thing ...

Clearly you don't have floods... but couldn't it get cold in the winter? Ice-bound?
