I think this is one of the more interesting photos of the Milles statue at Hötorget I've seen. As often before, you come up with the surprising perspective. Good one, Per!
Pigeons are rats with wings. They carry diseases and are dirty.
Nonetheless, that is an interesting photo.
If I was that pigeon, I'd fly away very quickly ;-)
peter: thanks. Once again it was sort of randomly unplanned. I was aiming for the entire statue but the square was so darned crowded that I couldn't get a clear view. So I gave up, got closer and aimed for some pigeons. It wasn't until afterwards I realized that the feet are the main feature.
ming(tm): I'm no big fan of pigeons either. Like it or not, they're here to stay. An unavoidable part of the city landscape.
bernt: Good idea! ;) I'm reminded of that recurring animation in the Monty Python shows where a big foot appeared out of nowhere and sort of ended whatever was taking place...
I am sorry - I should go to bed ...
