It's a nice and warm Sunday afternoon at the funfair at Skansen open-air museum. Maybe the kids favour the beach to the merry-go-around. Or more terrifying attractions, like this monster at neighbouring Gröna Lund.

Even though the queues were rather short (or non-existent) on this occasion, it’s nice to see that there is still a place for this kind of traditional amusement in our high-tech era.
As a child I liked to go round with it but nowadays I get sick of it. Why? What has happened to me?
It is beautiful to watch, very living and colourful.
For as long as I can remember I have had a tendency towards sickness when riding merry-go-rounds and other attractions so I keep away, even though I think I could handle this one. My view has always been "why pay money to get sick". But on the other hand, I spend huge amounts of money going out at bars and such.
