a whole different hay market

Hötorget 2
.
On weekends there's a whole different hay market at Hötorget. For instance you can buy a textile bracelet with your name on it. The gentleman in yellow is just passing by.

"The gentleman in yellow is just passing by" - this really cracks me up. He looks indeed as if needs to be out of there as fast as possible!

Is he wearing sun-glasses and a raincoat?
What does this say about our weather in Stockholm?
And what does it say about him?
A flexible man?

... and I thought the colours of the textile bracelets would be nice ...

Peter!
The colours of the textile is most wonderful.
Do toy know Kaffe Fasset? He would love it, too.

Lena: I think you are right! (and thank God for Wikipedia ;o) )

Peter! This is a secret! Kaffe is my favourite man. I have his autograph, but he did not look at me when he wrote it. I have many of his wonderful and colourful books. He is a great man for many women...

lena, I agree, it's absolutely stunning the things he makes and designs! I suppose you visited the wonderful show at Waldemarsudde with his design and items last autumn?

Pia!
Yes, of course I was there-twice.
I am a quiltmaker myself so this was a fantastic exhibition for me and my friends in Kviltföreningen Rikstäcket.
I just bought Kaffes book with patterns of some of this quilts.
:-).

Lena, Rikstäcket, I have a talented acquaintance who is very involved in that association too - it's a small world:)

Quilts are just so beautiful, and personal, myself I'm not very friendly with the sewing machine, I'm more of a knitting, crocheting kind of person, haven't tried ou any of Fasset's patterns as yet though *must do*

I wouldn't know my sewing from my weaving from my quilting but if we ask Lena politely, I'm sure she'll show us a great quilt photo one of these days.

Per!
Of course I will.
I really love to show my quilts.
Just wait and see.
