#1001 the Great Church
Slowly we are walking home after the celebrating #1000. The city, some parts go back to the thirteenth century, that we love and show every day is starting to tuck in. Storkyrkan - The Great Church - raises itself over the Old Town. The church, first mentioned in writing in 1279, is today the cathedral of Stockholm. Some things don't change. Superb perspective with the church illuminated at the end of the dark alley. I tried the same angle 19 December 2005
but this is so much better as you moved in closer and skipped a lot of irrelevant foreground. And the blue sky is gorgeous.

Per: It's like a photographer - I can't remember his name, he is Polish - is said to have answered to the question how to take better photos: "Leave the telephoto lens behind and get closer." I think he would have liked to get even closer. Now, let's find some human beings in this great city!
