long county street
Östgötagatan on the island Södermalm stretches almost all the way from Norra Hammarbyhamnen in the southernmost to Slussen in the north. The street has its name from the province Östergötland in the south east of Sweden.

I was attracted to your photo on the portal, for at first it looked like a canal between two rows of buildings, like in Venice!
Great shot!
great shot. where did you take it from?
really loooong street:)
That's a great shot! How long is it?
Bibi: Stockholm *is* Venice of the North!
Ineke: There's a small bridge - the Bohus street - at the southern end of Östgöta street. The Bohus street has its name from the south west region of Sweden.
M_m and Cieldequimper: 1480 metres (according to Wikipedia, takes approximately 30 minutes in a moderate walk). Most of its length is one way traffic only.
It's lovely of you to stop by!
I have spent many evenings here. Eating and drinking at the Östgötakällaren through the years.
No flaws in this image. Perfect. :)
