A great evening shot.
That's a hostel? Wow. Must be a wonderful experience to stay there, even for just one night.
Lovely night shot!
Beautiful deep blue. A hostel of the like I have never seen before.
And it's a beauty! When was it built?
I did catch a couple of other shots as well so stay tuned for those.
humanobserver: Thanks.
Hilda: Never slept there myself but for many backpackers and other tourists this is the preferred mode of accommodation when in Stockholm.
Babooshka: I read about an old airplane being used for similar purposes. I'm not much for aviation myself so that wouldn't be my cup of tea but surely somebody's...
cieldequimper: It was built in 1888 and a rather extensive renovation was completed last year.
Thanks all for stopping by!
Always love a shot of "The Tall Ships" as we call them here.
Beautiful! I love the colors.
Fantastic blue! Wonderful shot!
Oj, så tjusigt! Vilken BLÅ färg :-)
Splendid photography! Indeed, the depth blue is amazing!
If anyone among our readers has in fact slept in this floating hostel, feel free to add a comment and tell us what it's like!
B Squared: Certainly a lot taller than most boats out there, that's for sure.
Halcyon: So did I, colours usually get me started.
JM: Thanks, glad you like it.
Lena Johansson: :) Det är en fin årstid som rullar in nu.
m_m: Appreciate that.
Thanks all!
Great night capture of a beautiful ship!
Stay tuned Jacob and don't be surprised if she's back with us next week.
well, at least 4 years ago "af chapman" was a lovely place to stay at... I really had nothing to complain about. and the view from my cabin was just perfect - facing the royal palace!
Thanks Riina for telling us about what it was like to spend a night here. I can imagine the delight waking up to such a view and after this hefty renovation I'm sure the ship is even more attractive.
