water week: son of a plumber

Now is the time of year to look after that garden fountain, making sure it will sprinkle and squirt its way through another summer. At Sergel Square they're getting ready as well. Perhaps not a job for your average local plumber.

Imponerande teknik av konstruktörerna och fint perspektiv på din bild.
Så mycket arbete för att vi ska få njuta av vattnet sen.
Det ärhärligt med fontäner :-)

It seems very complicated to produce single sprays. Do they turn in patterns in some way? The shot from last summer is very beautiful.

In some circles, taking a bath here is the preferred way to celebrate various sports events.

Fredrik: Always ready to reveal the truth behind the curtains! ;)

Lena Johansson: Ja, mycket jobb är det och mest av allt med att städa och hålla rimligt rent. De flesta trädgårdsfontäner har ju inte lika många överfriskade besökare.

Julie: Just fixed sprays, if my mind serves. It does look a bit complex. Glad you liked the tulip shot. You might recognize it from the front page of this blog.

Thanks for taking the time to comment.

That's going to be some grand fountain works! Super composition!

This square is symbolically regarded as the center of Stockholm and all of Sweden.

JM: In the fountain is that glass obelisk we've been showing several times before and - no doubt - will show again.

Jacob: Unfortunately, this space is not exactly a tribute to pedestrians so I had to coexist with a bunch of cars to snap this.

Appreciate your commenting.

It means that we will get some cool snaps in the summer.
