I don't know the time of the day of this photo, but probably he has his reasons to be pensive. Or tired. Or discouraged.
I don't feel this as an optimistic image...
Interesting contour, or what one calls it, levelling?
I felt just like that every morning before I got on the subway.
Maybe he's wondering whether to take the train or not!
Great shot. You just that one moment that most people miss.
i like how this shot reflects the one person standing there, obviously waiting... essentially bored...maybe tired...or he just wanted to hang in there for awhile...^-^
I'm with Vogon Poet...he's either pensive, or sleeping, or perhaps crying...
A fascinating photo, for sure!
The mood in Norsborg was quiet and somber due to a recent fatal bike crash. It did affect us all, locals and visitors.
The crash had happened right outside the station a day or two earlier. Lots of people had gathered and out of respect for friends and relatives I chose not to take any photo at the scene.
Vogon Poet: This was a Sunday afternoon.
Svenske Floyd: I was out snapping photos of subway trains when this gentleman placed himself right in the image, thereby making it a lot more interesting.
B Squared: Don't we all!
Tinsie: Probably not. This is an end station so all trains leave in the same direction and for the same destination.
Babooshka: Thanks, I like this photo too.
arabesque: Waiting at least, that much is sure.
Jacob: Appreciate that. Let's go for pensive.
Thanks all for catching this in-between moment with us.
I read about that horrible bus accident. It does have a Sunday feeling somehow this photo.
Love the angle you have taken this
It takes 36 minutes for this train to reach Subway Central.
Lena Johansson: Den där strandpromenaden skulle vi ägna en stund åt. Nej, mantrat slutstation kanske inte ger den rätta inspirationen inför en ny dag...
Steffe: Not sure we're referring to the same crash but never mind. You're right about the sleepy Sunday feeling. I happen to be on vacation and every day feels just that way... ;)
Mo: Glad you like it.
Thanks all.
