making friends

Got some old bread in the kitchen? Now is the time to share it. Crumbs of any kind are immensely popular these days among the feathered squad.

Crumbs and seed! I always enjoy your photos of the "feathered squad".

Everyone looks like they are having fun - people and ducks both.

Say hello to Värmdö - a municipality we've been neglecting. It is about time to start rectifying that.

Halcyon: Thanks, they're certainly a noisy bunch.

arabesque: I'll be experimenting with b&w now and then. Appreciate your feedback.

Three Rivers: People, definitely. The ducks are more focused on surviving. February is the most difficult month in their calendar, methinks.

Quack, everyone!

An interesting thought. Good use of black and white to portray this image.

I will be doing some posts in b/w during 2010 and - as always - your feedback is very much appreciated.

Alexander: I got an extra good reason to use b/w here when one of the persons walking by happened to be wearing very colourful clothes which sort of dragged most of the attention away from the crumbs and the birds...

Tinsie: And rather lucky, there was no time whatsoever to plan this one. Thanks!

Now don't forget to look for old bread in the kitchen. You know who would love to share it.
