nocturne for Hammarby Church (2)

Contrasts. Between those who went before us and ourselves. Between the freeze frame we call winter and the sparkling life lying before us. Between darkness and light. A lonesome spotlight sets the scene for a night of contrasts by Hammarby Church.

Spooky. Do you recommend Chopin to shake the feeling?

One can never go wrong with Chopin. Thanks, ciel.

Reading your reactions makes me realize that the image came out rather differently than I had intended. I like cemeteries. It's a no-nonsense place where times makes a pause. Helps me adjust my compass and reminds me about what's important and what's not.

Halcyon: Thanks!

Lena Johansson: Don't worry, Lena. It's a very peaceful place.

Jacob: The effect probably enhanced in b/w?

arabesque: The camera lies! :)

Carrie Flicka: Believe it or not, that was not my sentiment at all. Then again, I guess it's down to whether we're generally uncomfortable in cemeteries.

Good to have you all for company here anyhow!
