morning has broken by Norrviken

Morning has broken, like the first morning
Blackbird has spoken, like the first bird
Praise for the singing, praise for the morning
Praise for the springing fresh from the word
(Eleanor Farjeon)

Another day dawns by the 12th century church in Sollentuna.

Gorgeous shot. Truly beautiful.

Magic colors for a quite familiar church. Nice verses, either.

I suppose most of us get some Cat Stevens vibes now and then.

Luis Gomez: Many thanks.

VP: Yep, I keep returning here. Sort of a mental reset.

cieldequimper: Au contraire... To be perfectly honest I never went to sleep the evening before. Me and my camera were having another all night thing together.

Lena Johansson: Klockan 02.46 kan det vara såhär.

Halcyon: Appreciate that.

arabesque: I was hoping it did. Say hello to your dad! :)

Incidentally, the song is a lot older even though it became known to a wider audience in the seventies. I didn't know that.

Thanks everyone.

We used to sing that song ad nauseum in years past! Good memories, though.

Lovely photograph, too.

Re your comment on Cedar Key: We get people from the north coming to Florida for the whole winter! So, a monthly rental is nothing unusual.

The population of the Hollywood Beach area jumps about 200,000 people during the wintertime...most of those are French speakers from Quebec!

You haven't lived until you've walked the boardwalk at Hollywood Beach and heard country music coming from the bars - all in French!

The forecast talked about rain tonight so I'd better get me some sleep.

Jacob: Sometimes, traditional songs are even more traditional than one might be inclined to assume.

JM: I'd be fascinated to have you and your lens exploring these surroundings as well.

Thanks all for commenting.
