quiet point in Duvbo
The subway can be an awfully noisy place. It can also be surprisingly quiet. Here's a tranquil moment in Duvbo Station when rush hour is over, the next train is a few minutes away, the escalators have stopped and... silence...

Ett vackert perspektivfoto.
Det röda är viktigt.
Vilka snygga stationer vi har i Stockholm.
Great composition. Love it!
Nice symmetric shot of really quiet subway.
I like the escalators that stop. There aren't that many around.
A successful Duvbo shot after all!
Great photo, I like its symmetry also its colors.
Ahhh, the sweet sound!
Can you send some over here? :)
Sometimes, it is suggested that the colour red increases our perceived level of stres. Be that as it may, hanging around with a camera for an hour or two I found this station quite pleasant.
Claes/Lena: Så sant, den ena pärlan efter den andra.
Luis Gomez: Symmetry can seize the imagination...
VP: There were another couple of commuters waiting around, who chose to position themselves behind the photographer... :)
cieldequimper: I guess there's a timer. When noone has entered the escalator for a couple of minutes, it'll take a break.
Svenske Floyd: Affirmative!
Andreea: Thanks.
Halcyon: I do have quite a few recordings of subway noise... :)
Thanks all for commenting today.
I really like this shot but I'm not sure why...it's a bit surreal and looks kinda lonely, yet peaceful at the same time.
i like the sound of silence esp. on a busy and noisy week, but not too much. ^0^
a gr8 perspective and magnificent shot!
a rare moment indeed... well done!
This is a good one. Great perspective.
Your subway perspectives always surprise me. This is great!
Lovely perspective there. The angle of the shot was well planned with it too!

Fire hydrants come in handy once in a while. In this case, as a makeshift tripod.
Jacob: Spot on. Lonesome in a mass transit system.
arabesque: It's only for a few minutes - at the very most.
Andrea Gerak: Appreciate that.
Steffe: Unfortunately, many modern stations don't have this "traditional" one-platform design.
JM: Thanks. I'd like to let you and your camera loose down here for a while too!
Alexander: As usual, I was aiming for something slightly different. More on that some other day.
Many thanks, everyone.
I can almost hear the silence when looking at this photo. Weird :-)
How 'bout that for a film title? The Silence of the Commuters...
Nah, on second thought maybe not. Thanks, Tinsie.
