Rainy October; children love it. Everywhere pools of water to play in. Outside the day care center Regnbågen in Sollentuna this girl finds the perfect spot to try out her new rubber boots and have a splashing moment.

water week appearance. Here they are, patrolling

Most people have already picked up their boats for the season but there are some pockets of resistance still. It looks quite cosy as a matter of fact.
The first bridge across
Nockeby Strait was opened in 1787. Composer Carl Michael Bellman was among those attending the festivities. The current version is a movable bridge from 1973. It's unclear whether it has inspired any music but the good folks of Ekerö Municipality can testify to its importance in everyday life.
Skärholmen south of Stockholm market themselves as "Skhlm - The capital of shopping" and thus travestying on Stockholm's (Sthlm for short) "The capital of Scandinavia".
Books. So many things can be learned from them. In this particular case it's geography that catches this boy's attention. He seems to be totally absorbed by it. Or maybe he just needs a pair of new glasses?
