Two ferries from Stockholm anchoring in the Finnish capital Helsinki. On the left the red Viking Line and on the right the white Silja Line. The two ferries leave Stockholm just before five in the afternoon and follow each other over night to Helsinki where they arrive at ten o'clock in the morning.

An art student recently got his fifteen minutes of fame by videotaping his act of vandalizing a subway car. Other artists help brighten our everyday life through their unique contributions. Ever since 1994, these 17 bench-like sculptures made from unpolished granite by Richard Nonas have made Skarpnäck subway station an intriguing venue for geometry and perspectives. Sometimes, art is worth every krona of our tax money.
