They all look alike. I am surprised somebody didn't want a different color.

Hi there. So nice that you have found us! My boyfriend, I'm sure, would have replied to your comment but he's not able to log onto blogger in China :/ haha.

I have family and Sweden and checking out your blog is great :]

I like the contrast of this photo.

Love the balconies. I guess they have a building code to make sure they all look the same.

Thåström (Swedish mega pop/punk icon) made an album in 2005 called Skebokvarnsvägen 209 (You Tube).

I have a burning question here, do most Swedes usually live in high-rise apartments or do they own single-storey houses?

What interesting colors for the balcony! It took me awhile to figure out what they are.

Quite interesting -- with all of them looking alike, it kind of reminds me of those over-the-door organizers with pockets that you use to keep your shoes or jewelry organized.

I'm afraid the choice is limited in this case, Abraham Lincoln.

Turtle: Hi, say hello to your traveling friend. I've never been that far away from home!

Halcyon: Yep, I wouldn't expect too much diversity here in terms of colour.

Peter: Thanks, I didn't know that although I believe he's supposed to have grown up around here ages ago.

Photolicious: Thanks for your burning question. Most Swedes live on the ground. Multi-storey buildings are of course more common in our cities but even here in the capital there aren't any real skyscrapers. Some argue for a change to that policy. Sweden being a sparsely populated country, there should be plenty of room for all of us without building into the sky. Then again, there are other arguments. High buildings enable a geographically concentrated city where people won't need cars to move around.

Ming(tm): They're quite colourful. Unfortunately I picked the wrong angle for this shot, at least as far as colour is concerned. There's a bit of sun reflection making the colour less intense.

Ptowngirl: Fascinating parallel, I wouldn't have thought of that!

Thanks all for commenting. As you can tell from all the plastic this is a construction site and no one is living here (at least when this was shot) but I'm not sure if this is a new house or if it's being renovated. Maybe someone can enlighten us?
