I have a burning question here, do most Swedes usually live in high-rise apartments or do they own single-storey houses?
What interesting colors for the balcony! It took me awhile to figure out what they are.
Quite interesting -- with all of them looking alike, it kind of reminds me of those over-the-door organizers with pockets that you use to keep your shoes or jewelry organized.
I'm afraid the choice is limited in this case, Abraham Lincoln.

Photolicious: Thanks for your burning question. Most Swedes live on the ground. Multi-storey buildings are of course more common in our cities but even here in the capital there aren't any real skyscrapers. Some argue for a change to that policy. Sweden being a sparsely populated country, there should be plenty of room for all of us without building into the sky. Then again, there are other arguments. High buildings enable a geographically concentrated city where people won't need cars to move around.
Ming(tm): They're quite colourful. Unfortunately I picked the wrong angle for this shot, at least as far as colour is concerned. There's a bit of sun reflection making the colour less intense.

Thanks all for commenting. As you can tell from all the plastic this is a construction site and no one is living here (at least when this was shot) but I'm not sure if this is a new house or if it's being renovated. Maybe someone can enlighten us?
