Pope behind bars
Pope Benedictus XVI in street art mode. Found at the façade of the formerly Katarina Västra school gymnasium from 1881 (destroyed in a fire in 2003). Plans are still on to make it into a hamam, a Turkish bath.

Will they keep the Pope then?
I might get bopped on the head by my friends, but I find this really funny!
This is really good! Any idea who painted it?
What a good idea
Well, a Pope has to bathe too.
lol, pope + bath = curious... ^-^
pope + behind bars = cool art!
Both title and capture are super cool! :-) Great post, Per!
Hee! Maybe that's where he belongs? ;)
@Tinsie: It's not painted, it's some kind of paper glued to the building. I have no idea who's behind it, but it's cool.
Peak a pope a boo!
It's a good one.
Interesting statement, great find! I like political street art.
saw that on gatukonst once. http://vimeo.com/4802987
Thank you Dinge! I loved the video! I wonder if they commissioned the police van at the end, or if it just was a coincidence. Everybody, watch the 4 minute video!
