The full moon offers a bit of unnecessary navigational assistance as another ferry rushes from Rindö to join a sister vessel already moored in Vaxholm.

Tricky night shot, I like the nice reflection more than the subject itself.
Unnecessary but welcome, nonetheless.
A modern Caspar David Friedrich, nice!
Vaxholm was bitterly cold last Friday. Stay tuned for more glimpses from this pearl in the archipelago.
Vogon Poet: So do I. The subject itself will appear more favourably in other photos. In this case it was all about reflections.
B Squared: I don't know what it is about this heavenly body but it tends to enhance any scenery.
Svenske Floyd: I believe good old Caspar still has the edge ;) but I guess we'd have to go to the Nationalgalerie in Berlin to settle this.
Thanks all for going slightly lunatic with us under this moon.
gorgeous colors as thought it is a painting
I like the reflections and the movement. Very nice.
Please stop by my blog today. As promised, I found something in Jackson that I think you'll like!
The movement is great. Yes, it does seem to rush. Beautiful shot.
Lovely night shot with a sense of motion...
Interesting shot. I love the colour of the sky!
You got it and Svenske Floyd is right about Friedrich...
I'll find my way to escape from home.
In fact what I would like is to be always a foreigner.
Nice pictures!
In case anyone doesn't remember, here's a song with a similar title...
Julie: Appreciate that! I so admire those who can paint...
Halcyon: Moving at a reasonable pace, considering the fact that this was Friday night.
cieldequimper: Thanks.
Jacob: One day I'll bring the tripod and everything onto the vessel itself.
Tinsie: A couple of fluffy clouds would have been even better.
Vogon Poet: He is in fact in town at the moment. Or his paintings, to be precise. There's an exhibition at Nationalmuseum .
Qualunque: A bit of virtual travelling is a good thing.
Again, thanks all!
