It certainly doesn't look stealthy, but I guess it has something to do with radars and sonars and other -ars.
I am still working on your church photo. Not much time for snapping these days. But it's coming.
It reminds me of a ship in a James Bond movie with Pierce Brosnan, probably Die Another Day.
Hakycon: Other "arses"?You're probably right. Looking forward to the church! But remember, above all it should be enjoyable being a photo blogger. Take your time and take care!
Greg: It certainly looks like something out of a Bond movie. Saw the latest the other day. It was so and so.
I agree it should be fun Photo blogging. Swedes and stealth technology sounds more like Star Trek.
This is a really fun juxtaposition of old and new. I like the little man (well, he looks little) standing on the deck.
Looks like the corvette class Visby. Made by Kockums more information at

Made by Kochums ... mmm ... sounds like Australian humour ...
The old town looks absolutely beautiful!
Yes, it is the Swedish Royal Navy corvette Helsingborg that is making a week-long visit in Stockholm. Thanks BPC!
Our naval adviser also provided a link for those who prefer to read about the vessel in English.
