I absolutely agree: it looks neat, essential and functional.
When do you take your photos??? No people? ;-)
I like the clean lines. But, like Ciel, I wonder where are the people?
You know, we only have 20 people per the square kilometre in Sweden, in comparison to France's 110 and USA's 31. It has to show. But yes, I do agree, our photos are often too empty of people.
I like the striped pipe at the top; it makes me think of a Christmas peppermint stick...YUMMM!
The stations was opened in 1985 and I'd guess the subway car arriving is equally old.

cieldequimper: Believe it or not, in the midst of rush hour on a Monday afternoon... ;) The entrance/exit is in the other direction so at this end of the platform few people would be hanging around.

Anyhow, snapping photos in these modern stations is a pleasure. It might be more of a challenge to get interesting shots from the older outdoor stations. [note to self]
What wonderful movement you have captured in this one!!
What I like about this shot is the blue apparition in a grayish cave. Plus this perspective thingy - lines and movement along those lines.
