Per Strömsjö - To respond to your comment about stairs, NYC require all new commercial businesses to have wheel chair assessiblity ramps. Older buildings are exempt from the law.
There are elevators to the underground subways (but they are broken down all the time) and buses have special lifts for wheel chairs.
That said, NYC is a tough place to live for someone with physical disability because it's so crowded and fast paced.
I agree that this was another good one by Michael. He'll have another photo for us next week. Thanks all for commenting.
