not your average (red) sofa
This rather oversized sofa was standing in Kungsträdgården during a week called "A Taste of Stockholm". The park was transformed into a giant food court, where restaurants from all over Stockholm had put up stands where they served small portions of different kinds of food. This has become a yearly event and depending on the weather it pulls out people by the thousands. The sofa is an advertisement for one of Stockholm's three free morning papers.
.Soffan i Kungsträdgården var ditställd av City under "Smaka på Stockholm"-festivalen. Den behövdes, för det var trångt vissa kvällar.

First time to your site. I love the wacky way you look at the world...too fun!
I wonder if Attila is somewhere in the photo. His limo is casually parked next to this discrete piece of furniture.
The picture reminds me of a slightly surrealistic dialogue from a classic Swedish children’s TV show ages ago:
-Eat your pancake now, my son.
-But, Mom and Dad, it’s so big.
-The pancake is not big.
You are too small!
More reminiscing here...
Very fun ... I wonder how many cities around the world have "A taste of" event.
looks like fun!
Speaking of children's shows...you need Clifford the Big Red Dog to join the kids on the red sofa. Looks like a fun time! I would have enjoyed the eats and wrestled my way onto the sofa for a nap.:-)
fabulous looking sofa!
Now this is cool...you are right...not your average red soafa.
Most of the kids seemed to have real fun in the sofa :-)
Per: my personal guess is that Attila is the kid in black. Thats the only one who seems in need of a pram.
Oh what fun this is. Love that sofa. Great choice for today.
Fun time for all on this sofa!
Just curious , LOL..But why does a free morning paper have to advertise ? :S
Yasser: It's free to the public, but the money has to come from someone, right? As usual - ads. And they need to be seen, or the ads will be fewer, and the paper is no longer....
