I - Robot?

Could have been. But isn't. It's a lamp-post (of course), standing outside the theatre Dramaten. But then again... you never know...

Som sagt, man vet aldrig...
Hur som helst en fin figur.

Tack för senast!

It's a beautiful lamp with two disturbing CCTV cameras. The entrance area of Dramaten was renovated this year, wasn't it? Shining gold!

Here's a more dramatic view of those golden obelisk-like lampposts:

Looks kind of like R2D2 of Star Wars fame! But, really, it's a beautiful streetlamp!

Pretty, pretty, reminds me a lot of the ones in Barcelona made by Gaudí.

Great picture, I have passed by that lamp daily for a year. I recoqnized it immediatly from an the small icon picture. Did you made an entry about the statue a bit to the left. There is a life size statue of a woman which poeple go and touch from time to time... I never learned what it means.

photoimagine: tack själv, hoppas på en ny träff vid tillfälle.

peter fristedt: CCTV-cameras? You mean the spotlights.....?

järnladyn: Nice one too.

saretta: R2D2 was the little chubby fellow, more like C3PO. That's what got to my mind when I took the pic.

pia k: Never been there, so I can't compare. Maybe some day....

macobra: The lady is one of Swedens most famous actresses, Margaretha Krook. She died a few years ago. You can tell by looking at the statue, that many hands have been stroking it. There are differences in colour...

Thanks for all the comments :-)

No, I meant CCTV cameras. But I stand corrected :-) I'm a bit paranoid, you know.
