reincarnation at odenplan
This is a sculpture "Off Hunting (for Sorrows)" by Christian-Pontus Andersson. Bodies of porcelain symbolize the transition of our old, worn-out bodies on the way to Paradise. It's all part of that big art exhibition known as the Stockholm Subway. See more?

Wow! That is so amazing! I really like it! Great shot!
Really amazing. I saw it in the Underground Odenplan when I was very busy but I had to stop my speed and look at it.
I do not know if I like it but it gave me strange feelings. I got a bit afraid!
A very good photo, Per!
God Morgon! This is an awesome sculpture, very visually stimulating! Great shot!
Wow, that looks fascinating! Must hop off at Odenplan one of these days then.
Interesting concept. I really like it!
Art in the subway is a never-ending theme, fortunately.
JM: Thanks. This shot was rather ad lib but it turned out well methinks.
Lena Johansson: I have mixed feelings as well but the sculpture certainly seizes the imagination and I'm sure that's what any artist would hope for.
Carrie Hayes: Godkväll! Visually stimulating, indeed. Snapping this one was fun.
Pia K: You'd better hop off at Odenplan then and give us your verdict in the matter...
Halcyon: Thanks!
Appreciate all your comments, folks.
Thanks for showing me! I have totally missed this beautiful piece of art. On the other hand, I hardly ever stop at this subway station.
I was looking for a description of this sculpture and I found your blog!
I put a reference to your blog on my photo.
Thanks so much, I really couldn't find what it was about!
Odenplan is a magnificent station well worth a visit, Järnladyn. But you're right, my trips also seem to be taking me elsewhere most of the time.
Nenyaki: Happy to be of service! :) And thanks for the link.
