Very interesting architecture, and the beautiful sky reflected on it makes it look magical.

Nice shot! The mood makes the picture.

Arken is a spectacular complex. Follow the links for a couple of more glimpses.

Hilda: For this angle, you have to take a walk around the building so it's not very familiar to local residents.

Mo: Glass and light, what more can one ask for?

Buenos Aires Photoblog: And a good mood it was!

Thanks all.

Wow! This is brilliant, Per! You took this shot at the most beautiful hour of the day!

One interesting detail about this complex is that a young and (at the time) inexperienced architect was given the responsibility to head the team of architects for this huge effort. She took on the challenge, led them to success and I'm sure we'll hear more from Lise-Lott Söderlund.

Jacob: Almost missed it. I was doing reconnaissance for shooting an hour later in my favourite light and happened to be here at this brief moment just after sunset.

cieldequimper: I wish we could show you some of the interior one day. Been there, unfortunately without camera in those days.

m_m: Thanks!

Halcyon: A bit of luck seems to be a photographer's best friend...

JM: Ah well, there are so many beautiful hours when the mood is right. But this was fine, I can't argue with you on that one.

Appreciate your hanging around this unique glass box in Solna with us.

Great architecture, beautifully photographed. I like photos that aren't straightforward, when you have to pose for a second or two to work out what's what. Well done.

You'd want to spend a while by this postal head office then. Lots of angles and surprises to figure out here. Thanks, Tinsie.

Ack! Vilken bild, igen! Färger, linjer... Det finns mycket att säga om glas, men det har sina ljusa sidor...

Vackert!

En karriär för en fönsterputsare, kallade vi det här komplexet en gång. Att glas "har sina ljusa sidor" får bli veckans talesätt.

Tack, himmelochord.
