silence is golden

Call it tradition if you like. At least one summer night should be spent in Sigtuna. A 48 kilometers drive from the city, we're still within Stockholm County which happens to be our district here at pixels. Someone had given the mosquitoes the night off which made my visit to Sigtuna Marina surprisingly pleasant. See more?

Fantastiska nattliga speglingar. Vi som sover på nätterna missar visst något :-).

Beautiful electric blue reflection, glad about the no-mosquitos night!

Wish I was there. I've heard a lot about Sigtuna, but never been.

I did wait to have a couple of ducks make a guest appearance in this shot as well but they weren't in the mood.

Lena Johansson: Det gör ni faktiskt! :)

humanobserver: Thanks.

support: I thought I should do one without sky, for once.

B SQUARED: Most certainly. Ours are entirely harmless of course but still very annoying.

Halcyon: Appreciate that.

Vogon Poet: Good to find some electric colour in this old town.

Tinsie: It's a very special place. A small town, rich in history and with Stockholm easily within reach for business or pleasure...

Glad to have you all hanging around here at night with us!

Fantastisk bild. Den väcker både det ena och det andra - inte minst nattvandrarlusten!

Sigtuna is not served by the rail network so these excursions tend to involve one of them night buses.

m_m: Thanks. Water and reflection is not exactly a new trick but who cares - it still works!

himmelochord: Djup bugning! Ja, kan man bara ge myggen kompledigt en stund så är det riktigt fint. (Och inte är det trettio grader varmt vid den tiden heller, kan jag meddela.)

Again, thanks all.

You have made so many superb shots involving water and that's quite a source of inspiration. Thanks, JM.
