That looks like the skyscraper type of silo ;-)
I like the color of the herring shop. Makes the place seem less grey.
What a wonderfully composed shot! That is one hell of a silo!
This was shot at the end of a misty night and that's why the silos sort of fade out of sight.
Tinsie: Pretty impressive structures. I'm sure there are some huge boats visiting this harbour now and then.
Halcyon: My thoughts precisely. Due to the fog it was a very grey morning.
Jacob: I was pretty pleased with this one too. 4AM wouldn't normally be the hour for a creative peak! ;)
Thanks all for lingering in the mist with us.
Wow, huge silos! Nice contrast in perspective.
Love this image and the subject: great contrast in color, shape and size.
Samma som surstromming i Ornskoldsvik?? Oj da! Halsningar fran Hagen
I still haven't figured out what that light is which appears to be moving in an elliptical orbit at the bottom right corner. I was there, the harbour was pretty quiet at 4AM and I have no idea what we're seeing.
Buenos Aires Photoblog: Hard to miss these, that's for sure. No idea what's stored inside them.
Vogon Poet: Appreciate that.
Leif Hagen: Samma strömming som i Ö-vik fast inte jäst! :)
Thanks all.
