Once upon a time Stockholm used to feel rather empty at this time of year as many local residents went elsewhere on vacation. These days we tend to spend more vacation time at home and we're happy to welcome a steadily increasing flow of tourists who help keep the city very much alive and vibrant throughout the summer.

So what are they doing out there? They remind me of the classroom where I used to teach. Even though the chair were all filled, it often seemed as though they were empty! If you know what I mean!

Your guesses are as good as mine. The flock of chairs just suddenly appeared where I have never seen chairs before (seagulls yes, chairs no).
