Carrie Flicka: That's obviously a very broad issue. I imagine you're referring to "just" the US, still a very large country with great diversity. You would get different answers from different people but I'd suggest that you have a lot to be proud of and there are things which really need improving. Your vibrant political process and bipartisan leadership is something we could learn a thing or two from. As far as the economy goes, it has developed through crisis before and so it will again.
It is the same here, all talk but little action. The image is so striking the interplay and light and shade. I am often drawn to your shots in the portal, and then sicover it;s the same photographer.
This is exceptional and it speaks volumes about our current state of financial limbo. Beautiful photo.
