Så fin och ståtlig hon är , ett riktigt landmärke!
It strikes me how clean looking the city is.
Nice city view! Indeed, Stockholm looks really clean and tidy.
Beautiful. And a nice clear sky too!
Neat city, wonderful view, a bit of envy...
Standing tall and proud! Where have you been to take that shot?
Great view indeed! Really nice shot!
One interesting observation to make is that our city center doesn't have any skyscrapers. Although tall and proud in its own right, with a height of 80 meters this church is by no means a major cathedral and notice how she rises far above the rest of the architecture.
Lena Johansson: Så sant. Och ännu tydligare här uppifrån.
B Squared: There has got to be something to that observation, we often get that remark from foreign visitors.
Buenos Aires Photoblog: This obviously being the friendly, summery version...
Halcyon: And quite windy too, notice those flags in the wind!
Vogon Poet: Glad you like it.
cieldquimper: This was taken from a roof terrace in the immediate city center, roughly a kilometer south-west of the church.
JM: Appreciate that!
Thanks all for climbing the roofs with us.
I was a choir singer in that church for a couple of years. It is a baroque gem. I look forward to your inside pics.
Must have been a close encounter with the harmony of the spheres - being a choir singer here...
Thanks, Svenske Floyd.
