It's good to be back in business! Those of us fortunate to have a workplace will appreciate the happy buzzing sound of colleagues striving towards a common goal.

I agree with the first half and for most of colleagues, with some noisy and nosy exceptions!
it's the good sleep, rest and relaxation, the vacations that keep us ticking and work for the rest of the year, you know... and if work isn't the intellectual challenge for a good cause, not having a good work environment and colleagues, then it really sucks. two sides of a coin.
lovely photo though:)
Oh did you not have fun on holiday?
Well... most of my colleagues spend the day complaining about this and that. But I am thankful to have a job in these tough times!
I'm with Vogon Poet! :-)
Gorgeous shot! Big bee, I bet!
If anyone wants to practice spelling, what about Echinops sphaerocephalus ? That would be the latin term for what we Swedes call a bolltistel , the workplace of this busy bumble bee.
Vogon Poet: Ah, but surely they're just buzzing on a slightly different frequency? ;)
Pia K: Two sides to any coin. Or three, counting the edge... I'm happy to inform you that this not-so-skilful-flyer appreciated today's limelight and may in fact make a re-appearance under a very different topic.
Mo: On the contrary - mine begins in a couple of weeks' time... I'm just trying to pep talk our dear readers! ;)
Halcyon: Certainly a reason for being thankful these days.
JM: Yep, this is a big one.
Thanks all for buzzing along with us on this issue.
Beautiful photo! Lovely shot!
A fine philosophic comment backed by a buzzy bee doing his business.
Great photo!
It was a windy afternoon so it took a while to have those thistles stand still momentarily. The bumble bee didn't seem to mind, he just kept on doing his thing.
m_m: Glad you like it.
Jacob: Must have been a philosophical moment!
Thanks guys.
