the Fittja connection

Fittja in Botkyrka municipality is located 18 kilometers or 30 minutes south-west of the city center. The subway network was extended to Fittja in 1972. Here's a train arriving from Norsborg. It will reach Bredäng in 11 minutes and is bound for Ropsten, north-east of the city.

The way you 'caught' this train remind me of the Superman movies (or something alike) when the hero run so fast you don't see him aniymore...

Great picture to emphasise the speed of the train

I like the movement in this photo. It gives light speed a vivid meaning.

Commuting at warp speed, no less.

Vogon Poet: I bet our local transport authority SL would love to hear that our subway resembles the appearance of Superman!

Mo: Thanks.

Leif Hagen:
-Scotty we are ready beam us over.
-Aye aye Spock!

Buenos Aires Photoblog: Ah, light speed. Would have made a smashing title, wish I had thought of that...

Good to have you all commuting with us.

The streak! Great shot. Makes me envious of your high-speed trains, though!

Our politicians can't even put together a decent train of thought!

Mind the gap!

Jacob: Don't worry. 18 kilometers at 30 minutes is not such a spectacular speed. Once in a while, the camera does in fact lie.

Halcyon: Thanks! Imagine taking a tour with this one after a successful round at the golf course.

Glad you both could zoom by.
