shall we sit outside?

There are still a few tables empty at Gröna stugan ("the Green Cottage") in Sundbyberg. Most guests seemed to opt for a table inside the restaurant.

It looks nice if you want to sit out in plastic clothing and a warm coat. I hope they're serving hot drinks.

I can go insise but not the birds.
This winter is the first winter I feed them in my garden and it is a pleasure.
I LOVE SNOW seen in this way, soft and beautiful.

This being the darkest days of the entire year, it's a huge relief to get some snow to brighten our lives. The traffic is an entirely different story of course...

tapirgal: They sure do and we'll get back to that topic.

Gunn White: Trust me, they all went inside...

Lena Johansson: Lötsjön is a haven for birds and some of them might appear here one day. Are you feeding just smaller birds or do you take care of them all, Lena? I'm sure they appreciate your garden now.

Svenske Floyd: Good point. This could be an excellent time of year to quit that particular habit...

Vogon Poet: I guess we all do like to watch the fluffy stuff.

arabesque: Having lunch here in the summer is a delight so it's a place for all seasons. And trust me, kids would love to play by those tables. Snow can be irresistible! :)

Thanks all for your merry company, helping us welcome Father Frost.

I must admit the snow makes for a beautiful scene. But...it also makes for a lot of shoveling.

I really can't ilmagine why they would want to go inside.

I feed small birds:

(In Swedish:
Pilfink, talgoxe, gråsparv, grönfink, nötväcka, blåmes, stjärtmes (just once).)

I am just a beginner in birdfeeding.I like it!

The bigger birds have no chance here. They look but they can not get the food.

Under the circumstances, sitting inside sounds like a good idea. ;-) Looks nice outside, though.

Walking the dog is something extra on a day like this.

Leif Hagen: Marshmallow tables - what a good comparison.

Jacob: My sentiments precisely.

cieldequimper: I didn't and my fingers were numb and cold so it appears they did have a point...

Lena Johansson: Blåmes is my favourite. That's a quick fellow.

Paz: A table by the window should be a good compromise.

JM: Camera batteries don't like it either.

photoimagine: En välsignad helg till dig med!

Tinsie: Obviously nothing compared to what they get at some of our ski resorts but for our geography it's a lot and it keeps on falling.

Alexander: Marshmallow ones!

Good of you all to keep us company in these days of relentless snowfall.
