galvanized vacancy

- Just got room for a few more!

For whatever reason, the bike rack doesn't seem to be entirely occupied tonight.

Well seen and done!
It has style and to me it is quite a unique shot!
Godt Nytt År!!

You could easily pass this as an 'installation' of contemporary art!
Very nice photo. Are you sure people do not hibernate there?

Very cool bike rack. Happy New Year!

Nice perspective. I would also have guessed this as a piece of contemporary art, some sort of meditation on infinity :)

Happy New Year and all the best in the new year!

After I listened to a radioprogramme about dimensions in space I am sure this is one.

Thanks all for joining us on pixels today and throughout the year! Having begun in 2005, this marks the end of our fourth full year of words and pixels from Stockholm.

Gunn White: There are many cyclists around (although winter is not exactly a peak season, as you can tell) so we need bike racks with a bit of style...

Vogon Poet: One never knows. I'm sure the designer would appreciate those words.

Svenske Floyd: And to you, Sir!

Tinsie: My first thought was "darn, there should have been at least one bike standing there" but I guess that would have ruined the symmetry and "tunnel" effect.

Luis Gomez: Literally cool! Enjoy your new beginning as well.

Andreea: I'm pretty sure there were no artistic ambitions involved. That said, this particular place next to a bus stop is immensely boring so it could certainly use some intelligent aesthetics.

Lena Johansson: You mean like in Star Trek ? Now that's a great example of lateral thinking! Maybe you recall this previous example on the same theme? :)

As we all know, tomorrow marks the beginning of something new, so - in accordance with tradition - here to help us is a good friend who knows how to kick-start a new year and in particular how to bridge moments of uncertainty... Join us Friday morning for that.

The bike rack was my choice for the 'Empty' theme day a couple of monthes ago, the difference is ours are circular. :-)

I'm pretty sure someone out there is busy planning how to launch this year's new bike models but somehow the campaign hasn't quite taken off yet.

B Squared: Stunning, I know.

Vogon Poet: That's what we're here for! :)

JM: ...and slightly colder?

arabesque: An artistic and happy new year to you as well!
